Large Scale Mining
Projects & Industrial Engineering has, since its inception, worked on large scale mining projects at both the mine site where ore/minerals are extracted and associated processing sites. In past and future projects the company works in a full EPCM consultant capacity and may form JV’s and partnerships with engineering processing companies to offer full multidisciplinary services.
Materials Handling
Projects & Industrial Engineering’s primary expertise is in the materials handling aspect from mine to process plant – at surface level. Installations include: – foundations for winders to surface stock piles, overland conveyors, aerial rope ways, transfer towers, tipplers, reclaim systems including stackers and reclaimers, decline shafts, tunnelling, stockpile management and auditing, and finally residue management in the materials handling aspect of tailings including load and haul of waste and slurry pumping into slimes dams.
Mining
In mining processing plants the company has installed infrastructure for communition – grinding/milling processes within sag and ball mills including:-foundation design and construction for mechanical rack screening, gravity separation jigs, jaw crushers and cone crushers and finally infrastructure for dust suppression and air quality systems.
In mining processing plants the company has installed infrastructure for ore separation and refining – within sag and ball mills including :- design and construction of foundations for washing plants, water screening racks, flotation tanks, for water based separation of ore; to design and construction of foundations for cyanide tanks for chemical beneficiation; to foundation designs, detail and construction of furnaces, smelters, and electrolytic refinery houses, to finally cooling tower concrete and steel structural infrastructure.
Finally Projects & Industrial Engineering can offer the service of design, detail and construction of mine and processing plant waste water treatment plants.
